This article relates to Cisco TelePresence Management Suite.
A. The VC Master is the participant in the conference who is considered the 'chair' or driver. The VC Master is the one who will be prompted to extend the conference, or in the case of manually connected conferences, the one prompted to start the conference.
The VC Master is not to be confused with the main participant of a conference, which is the hub site of a conference where all calls meet. For example: in a five-site MCU call, one system is acting as the MCU, this is the main participant, but does not have to be the VC Master. The VC Master can be assigned to any site that supports the on-screen message prompts sent by TMS.
