Introduction
This document describes steps to troubleshoot Diagnostic Framework Portico Log in fails with errorcode HTTP 403.
Prerequisites
- Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) 12.0
- Windows 2016

Components Used
The information in this document is based on UCCE 12.0.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
Problem
- On Desktop double click on Foldername "Unified CCE Tools".
- Click "Diagnostic Framework Portico"
- Enter credentials when prompted to login; however browser there after reports error code HTTP 403 (unauthorized), as show in image;

Solution
- Launch Domain Manager from folder "Cisco Unified CCE Tools" , as shown in the image:

- Click "Members" under Security group, as shown in the image:

- In Security Group Members , under Users click "Add"

- At this stage; error "The RPC server is unavailable" as shown in image pops up:

- Ensure windows services, DCOM Server Process Launcher, Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and RPC Endpoint Mapper are started.
- Try to log in to windows using local administrator account and it reports error "An attempt was made to login, but the network logon service was not started".
- To solve this,
- Open services.msc
- Ensure service Name "Netlogon" Status is "Running" and Startup Type is set to "Automatic".
