CSCvt22238 | C9200L/C9200 : Interface counter/MAC learning/MAC ageing does not work/ 32 prefix stuck |
C9200L/C9200 devices that run on Cisco IOS® XE software releases as mentioned in the Products Affected section will exhibit failure around the MAC address update and port interface counter update.
The issue is caused by an internal software timer that is impacted after a system uptime of seven weeks.
The affected product will show these symptoms after seven weeks of uptime/operation:
Workaround: Reload the switch in order to temporarily recover from this problem. However, this failure will reappear after seven weeks of operation. The switch can be reloaded proactively in order to avoid this issue occurrence before the uptime reaches seven weeks.
Solution: Cisco recommends that you upgrade to the release listed in the table or install the Reload Software Maintenance Upgrade (SMU) on the current software release which has the fix for this issue.
