CSCvw66505 | After ap376541, IMP shows always offline |
Creating or regenerating user accounts through Application Server provisioning after applying patch ap376541 will cause those accounts to always appear offline.
After Cisco BroadWorks Application Server patch ap376541 is applied, new and regenerated accounts that are provisioned through the Application Server provisioning flow (where the Unified Messaging Server (UMS) sends a HTTP redirect response (302 or 307)) will result in a failure of the Instant Messaging and Presence (IM&P) provisioning. This will cause the accounts to always appear offline.
Accounts that were created or regenerated through the Application Server provisioning flow will have a presense status of offline.
The version of BroadWorks that is currently deployed as well as the patches activated can be checked by executing the get versions all
command from the CLI. More information on how to check the patch level can be found in the Cisco BroadWorks Maintenance Guide associated with the release version.
The following patchs must be applied to correct the issues:
Release R22
Release R23
Release R24
BroadWorks patches can be downloaded through the Cisco Software Download Center after logging in with your Cisco.com (CCO) account.
