CSCvx09761 BEMS01180386 Inconsistent email headers between web password and voice portal lockout notification

Problem Description

After applying Cisco Broadworks patch ap367307, lockout emails generated for a user through the Voice Portal do not show the date header using the expected RFC 5321 format (for example, Tue, 19 January 2021 05:33:22 -0700).

Background

Lockout emails generated after patch ap367307 has been applied to the application server use an incorrect date header instead of the expected RFC 5321 format.

Problem Symptom

The emails will continue to be generated as requested, but will have the date header in a different format than expected. The password reset mechanism continues to work as expected otherwise.

Workaround/Solution

These patches are now available on the Cisco Software Download Center and must be applied in order to correct the issue:

The version of BroadWorks that is currently deployed as well as the patches activated can be checked by executing the get versions all command from the CLI. More information on how to check the patch level can be found in section 8.2 of the Cisco Broadworks Maintenance Guide.
