With Cisco BroadWorks patch ap378425 applied, all NS Synch requests between the Network Server (NS) and the requesting Application Server (AS) might be blocked for 30 minutes.
In some cases when you use NS Synch, the NS will throw an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundException which stops all NS Synch requests from the requesting AS for the next 30 minutes.
The affected patches are:
With BroadWorks patch ap378425 applied, users might experience an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundException when using NS Synch. This can cause all NS Synch requests from the AS to stop for 30 minutes.
Workaround
If ap378425 for the NS has already been applied, remove it in order to restore proper NS Synch behavior.
Solution
A fix is available via ap379548. Apply both ap378425 (if not already applied) and ap379548. This is also fixed in NS Release Independent (RI) 2021.04.
