Problem Description

Cisco BroadWorks Application Server might fail to upgrade after patch ap379889 is activated.

Background

Installation of patch ap379889 might fail under these specific conditions:

  • Installation, removal, and reapplication of patch ap379889 fails due to a missing rollback script.
  • Installation of patch ap379889 fails if more than one eXtended Services Interface (XSI) profile is used per subscriber.

Problem Symptom

Cisco BroadWorks Application Server might fail to upgrade after installation or reinstallation of patch ap379889.

Workaround/Solution

These Cisco BroadWorks patches have been rereleased to include a fix that prevents this issue.

BroadWorks patches can be downloaded through the Cisco Software Download Center after logging in with your Cisco.com (CCO) account.
