Problem Description

Cisco BroadWorks Application Server might fail to upgrade after patch ap380196 was released.

Background

Installation of patch ap380196 might fail under these specific conditions:

  • Upgrade after a successful rollback fails.
  • Reapplication of patch ap380196 after removal fails to apply it again.

Problem Symptom

Cisco BroadWorks Application Server might fail to upgrade after installation or reinstallation of patch ap380196.

Workaround/Solution

These Cisco BroadWorks patches have been rereleased to include a fix that prevents this issue.
