CSCvz86555 | CSCvz86555: Upgrade to WRS 2021.07 results in one-way audio |
A recent change to the cryptographic library that is used by the Cisco BroadWorks WebRTC Server impacts calls and causes one-way audio.
Due to a recent change in the cryptographic library, there is only one-way audio when calls are made with the Cisco BroadWorks WebRTC Server in versions Rl_2021.07 and later.
When a user joins a session, other joined parties can hear the user, but the user cannot hear the Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency signaling (DTMF) or hear the other parties.
Workaround:
In order to work around this issue, Cisco recommends that users revert to the previous version of the BroadWorks WebRTC Server: BroadWorks WebRTC Server - RI.2021.06.
Solution:
As a temporary solution, Cisco recommends that users do not upgrade to BroadWorks WebRTC Server versions 2021.07 and later, until a fix is available.
