Problem Description

The Config agent will not start if a platform patch is applied to the Xtended Services Platform (XSP) without AP.xsp.22.0.1123.ap381367.

Background

If patch AP.platform.22.0.1123.ap381367 is applied on an XSP without patch AP.xsp.22.0.1123.ap381367, then the Config agent will not start.

Problem Symptom

After the platform patch is applied, the Config agent fails to start until patch AP.xsp.22.0.1123.ap381367 is installed.

Workaround/Solution

Workaround

In order to avoid this issue, patches AP.platform.22.0.1123.ap381367 and AP.xsp.22.0.1123.ap381367 must be installed together. If patch AP.xsp.22.0.1123.ap381367 is uninstalled, then patch AP.platform.22.0.1123.ap381367 must also be uninstalled.

Solution

Patch AP.platform.22.0.1123.ap381367 has been recalled. A new version of the patch is now published on Cisco with a new md5sum.
