Problem Description


Cisco BroadWorks Media Server Release 2023.07 builds 333 and 334 are no longer available for download due to a packaging issue.


Background


A packaging issue was found in the Cisco BroadWorks Media Server binaries. Some components are missing.


Problem Symptom


The service impacts of the issue include the following:

  • For build 333, the MediaStreaming application (msfe process) may not start depending on the configuration. 
  • For build 334, customers may experience failure to fetch VoiceXML files over HTTPS.

Workaround/Solution


Workaround

Remain on an earlier release of Cisco BroadWorks Media Server.

To resolve this issue, customers should download and install Cisco BroadWorks Media Server Release 2023.07 build 336 or later:
