Introduction
This document describes the method to login reachable remote nodes from local node by TL1.
Remote Node Login from Local Node via TL1 Commands
In the quest to login a remote node from adjacent reachable node, if Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) does not work, you are left with the TL1 method.
This method describes how to login remote node from local logged in node and the steps are:
Step 1. Login to the node and check if the remote node is reachable via any channel, for eg. (DCC/GCC/OSI) or accessible directly by ping.

Step 2. Login via TL1 in local node with the use of this syntax.
Syntax:
ACT-USER:[<TID>]:<uid>:<CTAG>::<pid>;
ACT-USER::CISCO15:123::******;

Step 3. From the syntax, change the TID and to ACT-USER login for remote node which you want to login. For other commands too you need to use TID value i.e. remote node name.

For other commands as shown in the example, you need to enter the respective TID values i.e. node name as WXC-207:

Even if you are logged-in to the remote node, you can navigate in any other connected node and change TID for remotes and keep it as blank as TID for local nodes.
