Introduction

This document describes how to create an LDAP group query on the Email Security Appliance (ESA).

How do you create an LDAP group query on the ESA?

Create an LDAP group query under System Administration > LDAP.
Enable the group query for the listener under Network > Listener > {select the listener} > select the LDAP group query.
Go to Incoming Mail Policies.
Create a new policy for the group.
Add in the recipient matching the group.
Choose LDAP group query instead of email.
Select group query and put in the matching group name.
Configure new incoming mail policies: Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, Content Filters, and Virus Outbreak Filters.
