Question

How do I enable Application Visibility Control on the Web Security Appliance?

Environment

AsyncOS 7.x and later.

From the GUI:

  • Navigate to the Security Services > Acceptable Use Controls page.
  • Click Edit Global Settings. The Edit Acceptable Use Controls Settings page appears.
  • Verify the Enable Acceptable Use Controls property is enabled.
  • In the Acceptable Use Controls Service area, select Cisco IronPort Web Usage Controls, and then select Enable Application Visibility and Control.
  • Submit and commit your changes.
