MAC address clone is used to duplicate the exact copy of the MAC address of one machine to another machine. Usually, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) needs to register the MAC address of your device to uniquely identify your device, in order to authenticate it. If you previously registered any other MAC address with your ISP, you can clone that MAC address to the CVR100W VPN Router. You can even clone the MAC address of your PC to your device. This article explains how to clone MAC addresses on the CVR100W VPN Router.

Step 1. Log in to the web configuration utility and choose Networking > WAN > MAC Address Clone. The MAC Address Clone page opens:
Step 2. Check the Enable check box in the MAC Address Clone field to enable the Mac Address Clone feature.
Step 3. Choose one of the following in the MAC Address field to set the MAC address of the CVR100W's WAN port:
• Click Clone My PC's MAC to set the MAC address of the WAN port to the same as your PC's MAC address.
• Enter a specific address in the MAC Address field to specifically assign a different MAC address to the WAN port.
Step 4. Click Save.
