Enable/Disable Web Interface on SPA525G or SPA525G2 IP Phone

Objectives

The SPA525G/SPA525G2 IP phones can be accessed through a web interface. The web interface displays call history, device information, statistics, and offers the ability to upgrade the firmware. By default, the web interface is enabled on each phone.

This document explains how to enable or disable the web interface on the SPA525G/SPA525G2 IP Phone.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Enable or Disable the Web Interface

Step 1. Press the Setup button on the IP phone to bring up the Setup menu.

Step 2. Scroll up and down with the navigation keys to select Network Configuration and press Select to bring up the Network Configuration menu.

Step 3. Scroll up and down with the navigation keys to select Web Server.

Step 4. Press right on the navigation keys to toggle whether the web server is enabled or disabled. A blue check-mark indicates that the web server is enabled.

Step 5. Press Set to immediately update the status of the web server..
