The call feature settings are very useful, allowing you to configure different features for calls, such as transference, conference, and emergency numbers. This feature allows you to have more control over the call and enhance the performance of the call.
The objective of this document is to show you how to configure the call feature settings on SPA100 Series devices.
• SPA100 Series
• 1.3.1 (003)
Step 1. Log in to the Phone Adapter Configuration Utility choose Voice > Line. The Line page opens:
Step 2. Scroll down to the Call Feature Settings area.
Step 3. Choose the status that you would like to assign to the blind attended and transfer from the Blind Attn-Xfer Enable drop-down list. This feature allows the ATA to perform an attended transfer by ending the current call and transferring the call, when disabled it transfers the call while maintaining both connections.
Step 4. Choose the status that you would like to assign to the transfer call when it is in conference mode from the Xfer When Hangup Conf drop-down list. When this feature is enabled it makes the ATA transfer when a conference call is finished.
Step 5. Choose the maximum number of participants in a conference call from the Conference Bridge Ports drop-down list.
Step 6. Enter emergency number patterns separated by commas into the Emergency Number field to disable hook flash while the call is in progress. The hook flash feature returns to normal after the emergency call has ended.
Step 7. Enter the User ID or URL of the auto-answering streaming audio server into the MOH Server field.
Step 8. Enter the server's name into the Conference Bridge URL to support external conferencing.
Step 9. Choose the status that you would like to assign to the IP dialing from the Enable IP Dialing drop-down list. The format is [userid@]a.b.c.d[:port].
Note: The "userid" must use numerical values, the "@" symbol is signified by the * key, and a,b,c, and d are all values between 0 and 255. If no port number is provided the default port is 5060.
Step 10. Enter the ID number of the mailbox in the Mailbox ID field.
Step 11. Click Submit to save your changes.
