The product features of a device are characteristics such as size, shape, functions and capabilities. It is better if the user goes through the specifications and features of the device to have a better idea of its usability. The SPA122 can be accessed through the Ethernet port and has a built in router. The SPA112 must be accessed via DHCP on the Internet port. The objective of this document is to explain the product features of the SPA100 Series Analog Telephone Adapter.
Phone1/Phone2
Steady green — The analog phone is not in use or it is waiting for a call.
Slow flashing green — The analog phone is in use with the SPA.
Off — The port is not ready.
Internet
Flashing green — The analog phone is either sending or receiving data via the Internet (WAN) port.
Off — The analog phone has no access to the Internet.
System
Steady green — The SPA100 series device is ready and has attained an IP address.
Slow Flashing green — The SPA100 series device is obtaining an IP address. By default, it uses DHCP.
Fast Flashing green — The SPA100 series device is updating its firmware.
Off — Power is either not supplied to the SPA100 series device or it cannot boot up.
SPA112
RESET — Press the Reset button to restart the SPA122 device. To restore it to factory default settings, hold the button for 20 seconds.
PHONE 1, PHONE 2 — Connect a RJ11 phone cable from the PHONE 1 / PHONE 2 port to an analog phone. The phone ports can be configured to ensure proper connection to the Voice over IP network.
INTERNET — Connect an Ethernet cable from the INTERNET port to a broadband network device or router.
DC 5V POWER — Connect the power adapter from the POWER port to a power outlet.
RESET — Press the Reset button to restart the SPA122 device. To restore it to factory default settings, hold the button for 20 seconds.
