Q. How do I get a Polycom VSX7000 to register to a TANDBERG Border Controller or VCS Expressway?

A. Polycom does not support multiplexed media as described in H.460.19 standard - they only support H.460.18. In order for the Polycom VSX7000 to be able to register to a TANDBERG Border Controller or VCS Expressway, you must disable H.460.19 demultiplexing on the TANDBERG system.

To disable this setting on a VCS Expressway, go to VCS configuration > Expressway > Locally registered endpoints. You will be taken to the Locally registered endpoints page. For H.460.19 demultiplexing mode, select Off.

To disable this setting on a Border Controller, go to Border Controller Configuration > TraversalZones. You will be taken to the Traversal Zone Configuration page. For H46019 Demultiplexing, select Off.
