With Cisco Unified Call Studio, Universal Edition, default lists of languages and encodings are made available and can be configured through Project Preferences; this document explains the procedure.
The information in this document is based on Cisco Unified Call Studio, Universal Edition.
Refer to Cisco Technical Tips Conventions for more information on document conventions.
Symptoms: N/A
Resolution: In Cisco Unified Call Studio, Universal Edition, choose Window > Preferences from the menu. In the Preferences dialog, choose Audium > Project. This displays the default language and encoding lists.
The language list contains the default list of languages that is used to populate the language drop-down list in the General Settings of each voice application. The language specified in the General Settings is used in the xml:lang attribute of each VoiceXML document. The value here must conform to the format required in XML to specify languages, for example, en-US.
The encoding list contains the default list of encodings that is used to populate the encoding drop-down list in the General Settings. The encoding specified in the General Settings is used when you create VoiceXML documents.
Note: This value must be a valid Sun Java 1.4.2 encoding format, for example, UTF-8; refer to the Sun Java documentation for details.
