Support for Cisco IOS XE Bengaluru 17.6.1a and 17.6.1w
Cisco IOS XE Bengaluru 17.6.1a introduced new DPIC interface control-mapping restrictions and features applicable to the CBR-CCAP-LC-G2-R line card, including 32 SG/MAC Domains and 32 video service groups.
With this release, Cisco Smart PHY also supports the ability to configure 32 SG/MAC Domains and 32 video service groups on CBR-CCAP-LC-G2-R line cards running Cisco IOS XE Bengaluru 17.6.1a or later.
Through the Cisco Smart PHY application, you can configure up to 20 virtual out-of-band modulators (VOM), as the Cisco IOS XE Bengaluru 17.6.1w increased the scale of virtual out-of-band modulators (VOM) 10–20.
Deployment Enhancements and FQDN Support for Deployer

Cisco Smart PHY supports FQDN on the Deployer VM.

With this release, Cisco Smart PHY introduces a parameter called cluster size. The multinode installation supports two different sizes of clusters: Small and Normal.
Dynamic Editing of Service Definition Parameters
You can edit and save service definition parameters even after RPD association. Editable parameters are of two categories:

Non service-affecting

Service-affecting
After saving the non service-affecting updates, you can choose the RPD pairs which must be updated. Based on your selection, Cisco Smart PHY applies the updated CLI configurations to the appropriate Cisco cBR-8 routers. These updates are incremental to the existing configurations on Cisco cBR-8 routers. The CLI configuration pushed for new RPD pairings that are created after the updates were saved, reflects the latest values.

You can save only the service-affecting parameters. The saved parameters cannot be applied to the existing RPD pairings because
these updates affect the Cisco cBR-8 router configuration and results in config push error
