Cisco Network Insights Advisor (NIA) application consist of a monitoring utility that can be added to the Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC).
This document describes the features, caveats, and limitations for Cisco NIA on the Cisco APIC.

Support for Cisco Application Services Engine |
Cisco NIA is supported on the Cisco Application Services Engine. |
Cisco NIA monitors a data center network and pinpoints known issues that can be addressed to maintain availability and reduce surprise outages. Cisco NIA constantly scans the customer’s network and provides proactive advice with a focus on maintaining availability and alerting customers about potential issues that can impact uptime.
Cisco NIA consists of the following components:

This section describes the hardware requirements for Cisco NIA.
■ The Cisco Application Services Engine cluster SE-NODE-G2.
■ Pods on your network must have between 1 and 120 switches.
Pods with no switches will not appear in the list.
If you select a Pod with more than 120 switches, the initial setup will not complete and you will be prompted to select Pods with 120 or fewer number of switches.
This section lists the compatibility information for Cisco NIA.

This section lists the verified scalability limits for Cisco NIA.
