CSCsm90446 JL4 client unable to associate with 12.4.3JK root with security enabled

Symptom    The current Cisco 3202 and Cisco 3205 Wireless MIC with 12.4(3)JK images are not backwards compatible with any of the previous releases, including the C isco 3202 12.3(2)JK3 and Cisco 3205 12.3(2)JL4 releases.

Conditions   This issue only occurs when the 12.4(3) JK image talks to 12.3(2) JK/JL release images, andvice versa.

Workaround   There is no workaround. This issue will be resolved in next maintainence release.

CSCek79762 Block channel frequency 5600 to 5650 for ETSI Outdoor carrier set to 
satisfy ETSI 1.4.1 DFS regulation

Symptom    DFS channel frequency 5600 to 5650 did not meet ETSI 1.4.1 DFS regulations. These channel frequencies have been blocked in this release.

Conditions   This conition appeared on all Cisco 3200 Wireless Mobile Interface Cards (WMICs) for Europe.

Workaround   None.

Multiple vulnerabilities exist in the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) implementation in Cisco IOS that can be exploited remotely to trigger a memory leak or to cause a reload of the Cisco IOS device.

Cisco has released free software updates that address these vulnerabilities. Fixed Cisco IOS software listed in the Software Versions and Fixes section contains fixes for all vulnerabilities addressed in this advisory.

There are no workarounds available to mitigate the effects of any of the vulnerabilities apart from disabling the protocol or feature itself, if administrators do not require the Cisco IOS device to provide voice over IP services.

CSCso82553 Radio hangs frequently, overrun count increase.

Symptom    The Radio stops working suddenly, client drop the BSSID.

Conditions   This occurs in a random pattern, overrun count is increasing.

Workaround   Reload the interface (shutdown / no shutdown)

A Cisco IOS device may crash while processing an SSL packet. This can happen during the termination of an SSL-based session. The offending packet is not malformed and is normally received as part of the packet exchange.

Cisco has released free software updates that address this vulnerability.

Aside from disabling affected services, there are no available workarounds to mitigate an exploit of this vulnerability.
