The Smart Licenses tab indicates that you're operating in the evaluation mode, the transition period from the classic to smart licenses. The evaluation mode lasts for 90 days. The license count in the license summary is updated instantly.

Enter the following URL information for the satellite:
https://’IP_Address|FQDN:’port’/Transportgateway/services/DeviceRequestHandler
https://’IP_Address|FQDN|’:’port’ refers to the Satellite HTTPS User Access link in the browser.
-
Navigate to the Satellite section and create a registration token. Log in to the satellite and in the General tab, click New Token. Once you're connected to the satellite, create a registration token.
-
Enter the registration token that you created in the previous step.
After registration completes, a panel appears confirming that all licenses are confirmed and authorized.
