This document describes how to install the alarm interface panel (AIP) standoffs to allow for diverse power routing.

Step 1 Loosen and remove the screws that attach the clear cover to the ONS 15454 backplane. Remove the clear cover.

Step 2 Route the power wires as necessary.

Step 3 Attach the standoffs (50-1297-01) to the backplane.

Step 4 Replace the clear cover on the backplane, and insert and tighten the screws the screws that you removed in Step 1 (see Figure 1).
