Dell M1000E Host Driver Software Entitlement for the Cisco M SFS7000E InfiniBand Primary Switch
Revised: April 21, 2008Thank you for purchasing the Cisco M SFS7000E InfiniBand (IB) Primary Switch. Your purchase entitles you to IB host driver software for the server blades in the Dell M1000E chassis where the IB Primary Switch is installed.
The Cisco Systems website has the latest host drivers and technical documentation. After receiving the Cisco M SFS7000E IB Switch, download the latest required software and related documentation from the Cisco Systems website.
To download software and obtain documentation, perform the following steps:
Step 1 Register at the Cisco.com registration site at the following URL:
http://tools.cisco.com/RPF/register/register.do
By registering, you obtain a username and a Cisco.com password.
Step 2 Navigate to the Cisco software download site at the following URL:
http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center/index.shtml
Step 3 Select the software product category by clicking the Server Networking & Virtualization Software link.
Step 4 Select a device by choosing Cisco InfiniBand Host Channel Adapters and Software Drivers > Cisco InfiniBand Host Channel Adapters > Cisco InfiniBand Host Channel Adapter > OFED InfiniBand Drivers.
Step 5 Select OFED InfiniBand Drivers from the list of software type.
Step 6 Select and download the software.
The recommended driver software packages are OFED 1.2.5 or subsequent releases.
