Digitalisation of the transportation industry promises transformational opportunities. Concurrently, operators are faced with challenges including a growing and more complex threat landscape, a technology debt of control and other systems not built with security in mind, and an expanding regulatory environment.

The Department of Home Affairs are currently in process updating the 2018 Critical infrastructure Act, which among other changes is also expanding the sectors to include Transportation. Cisco is involved in similar efforts globally and has brought this global perspective throughout our active engagement in the consultation process.
