Actualización de CPLD en Catalyst 9400 SVL Setup
Introducción
Este documento describe un procedimiento paso a paso sobre cómo actualizar la versión de Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) en una configuración de Catalyst 9400 StackWise Virtual Link (SVL).

Requirements
Cisco recomienda tener conocimientos básicos de la configuración de Stackwise-Virtual en Catalyst 9400.

Problema
En Catalyst 9400, mientras se actualiza la versión de Cisco IOS®, en algunos casos excepcionales, la versión CPLD del dispositivo no se actualiza. En este caso, el CPLD del modo en espera no se actualizó después de la actualización.
Procedimiento de actualización
Paso 1. Utilice show redundacny para verificar si el SVL funciona correctamente.

Paso 5. En este caso, si es necesario actualizar la versión CPLD del switch activo, debe seguir estos pasos:
1. Do a switchover
9400-1#redundency force-switchover >>>>>>>>>>Initially Switch 1 is active and Switch 2 is standby.
After switchover it is vise-versa
2. Upgrade the CPLD version of previous active [now standby] with the command:
9400-1#upgrade hw-programmable cpld filename bootflash: switch 1 R0
3. Reload the the standby
9400-1#redundancy reload peer
