Este documento describe el uso de la función de captura de paquetes Ethernet (EPC) para capturar paquetes conmutados por proceso, generados localmente o impulsados por Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF). La captura del analizador de puertos del switch dentro de banda (SPAN) de la CPU no se admite en el motor supervisor 2T (Sup2T).
Cisco recomienda que tenga conocimiento de la función EPC y de la alta utilización de la CPU debido a interrupciones en los switches Catalyst serie 6500.
