Ce document fournit un exemple de configuration qui vous montre comment activer le routeur pour accepter des connexions IPsec dynamiques à partir d'un PIX. Le routeur distant effectue la traduction d'adresses de réseau (NAT) si le réseau privé 10.2.1.x accède à Internet. Le trafic de 10.2.1.x vers le réseau privé 10.1.1.x derrière l'appliance de sécurité PIX est exclu du processus NAT. Le tunnel IPsec établit seulement si le trafic (10.1.1.x) initie la connexion de l'appareil de sécurité PIX avec le routeur ayant un réseau distant (10.2.1.x). Le PIX peut initier des connexions au routeur, mais le routeur ne peut pas initier de connexions au PIX.
Cette configuration utilise un routeur Cisco IOS® afin de créer des tunnels dynamiques IPsec LAN à LAN (L2L) avec un dispositif de sécurité qui reçoit des adresses IP dynamiques sur son interface publique (interface externe). Le protocole DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) fournit un mécanisme permettant d'allouer des adresses IP de manière dynamique à partir du fournisseur de services. Cela permet de réutiliser les adresses IP lorsque les hôtes n’en ont plus besoin.

Sur le PIX, les commandes access-list et nat 0 fonctionnent ensemble. Lorsqu’un utilisateur du réseau 10.1.1.0 se connecte au réseau 10.2.1.0, la liste d’accès est utilisée pour permettre le chiffrement du trafic réseau 10.1.1.0 sans NAT. Sur le routeur, les commandes access-list sont utilisées pour permettre au trafic réseau 10.2.1.0 d'être chiffré sans NAT. Cependant, lorsque les mêmes utilisateurs vont n'importe où ailleurs (comme sur Internet), ils sont traduits vers l'adresse IP de l'interface externe via la traduction d'adresses de port (PAT).
