Una LAN è una rete limitata a un'area, ad esempio una casa o una piccola azienda, utilizzata per interconnettere dispositivi. Le impostazioni LAN possono essere configurate in modo da limitare il numero di dispositivi che è possibile connettere e gli indirizzi IP che tali dispositivi ricevono. Nella pagina Configurazione LAN è possibile configurare due elementi diversi: Impostazioni base server LAN e LAN (DCHP). Questo articolo spiega la configurazione LAN di base sul router VPN CVR100W.

Passaggio 1. Accedere all'utility di configurazione Web e scegliere Rete > LAN > Configurazione LAN. Viene visualizzata la pagina Configurazione LAN:
Passaggio 2. Selezionare il numero VLAN dall'elenco a discesa VLAN. Il numero VLAN specifica la VLAN che si desidera usare per la LAN.
Passaggio 3. Immettere l'indirizzo IP LAN del CVR100W nel campo Indirizzo IP locale. Verificare che l'indirizzo IP non sia utilizzato da un altro dispositivo nella rete.
Passaggio 4. Scegliere la subnet mask per l'indirizzo IP dall'elenco a discesa Subnet mask.
Passaggio 1. Fare clic sul pulsante di opzione Server DHCP desiderato. Le opzioni disponibili sono:
· Enable: consente al CVR100W di agire come server DHCP.
· Disabilita: disabilita DHCP su CVR100W.
· Inoltro DHCP: consente al CVR100W di fungere da inoltro DHCP. L'interfaccia di inoltro DHCP consente di stabilire più connessioni su più server DHCP in base alle interfacce fornite dall'utente.
Risparmio di tempo: Se il server DHCP è abilitato, seguire i passaggi da 2 a 6. Se si sceglie Inoltro DHCP, andare al passaggio 5. Se il server DHCP è disabilitato, andare al passaggio 8.
Passaggio 2. Immettere l'indirizzo IP del primo host nel campo Indirizzo IP iniziale. A tutti i nuovi client DHCP che si uniscono alla LAN viene assegnato un indirizzo IP che segue l'indirizzo IP iniziale in ordine numerico.
Passaggio 3. Immettere il numero massimo di client DHCP nel campo Numero massimo di utenti DHCP.
Nota: L'intervallo di indirizzi IP varia dall'indirizzo IP iniziale immesso al numero massimo di utenti specificato. L'intervallo viene visualizzato nel campo di sola visualizzazione Intervallo indirizzi IP.
Passaggio 4. Immettere il periodo di tempo (in secondi) durante il quale un utente di rete può essere connesso al router con l'indirizzo assegnato in modo dinamico nel campo Durata lease client. Trascorso questo periodo, all'utente viene assegnato un nuovo indirizzo IP.
Passaggio 5. Immettere gli indirizzi IP dei server DNS statici nel campo DNS statico (da 1 a 3). I server DNS statici eseguono il mapping degli indirizzi IP ai nomi di dominio.
Passaggio 6. (Facoltativo) Immettere l'indirizzo IP di WINS nel campo WINS. Il servizio WINS (Windows Internet Naming Service) gestisce l'interazione di ogni dispositivo con Internet. WINS utilizza un database distribuito che viene aggiornato automaticamente con i nomi dei computer attualmente disponibili e l'indirizzo IP assegnato a ciascuno di essi.
Passaggio 7. (Facoltativo) Se si sceglie Inoltro DHCP al passaggio 5, immettere l'indirizzo del server DHCP remoto nel campo Server DHCP remoto.
Passaggio 8. Fare clic su Save (Salva) per salvare le modifiche.
