Introduzione
In questo documento viene descritto come risolvere i problemi di VPN VXLANv6 sugli switch Catalyst serie 9000.

- Funzione VxLAN VPN unicast, BGP e MVPN (Multicast Virtual Private Network).
- Unicast IPv4 e IPv6
- Nozioni base sul multicast e funzionamento del multicast

Nota: 9200, 9500X e 9600X non supportano VXLANv6

Su tutti i dispositivi menzionati nel documento la configurazione è stata ripristinata ai valori predefiniti. Terminologia
EVPN

Ethernet Virtual Private Network |
L'estensione che consente a BGP di trasportare le informazioni MAC di layer 2 e IP di layer 3 è EVPN e utilizza il protocollo MP-BGP (Multi-Protocol Border Gateway Protocol) come protocollo per distribuire le informazioni sulla raggiungibilità relative alla rete di sovrapposizione VXLAN.

La VXLAN è progettata per superare i limiti intrinseci delle VLAN e dell'STP. Si tratta di uno standard IETF [RFC 7348] proposto per fornire gli stessi servizi di rete Ethernet di layer 2 delle VLAN, ma con una maggiore flessibilità. A livello funzionale, è un protocollo di incapsulamento MAC-in-UDP che viene eseguito come sovrimpressione virtuale su una rete sottostante di layer 3. |

Verifica (Greenfield o Dual-stack)
Prima di eseguire la risoluzione dei problemi per flusso di traffico, è necessario verificare le informazioni a livello di topologia EVPN VXLANv6 per garantire il corretto funzionamento. In questa sezione vengono illustrati i comandi di verifica per entrambe le distribuzioni. Selezionare i comandi di verifica applicabili in base alla distribuzione.
Connettività Underlay
Verificare la connettività IPv6 underlay tra VTEP e Spine (per Greenfield VXLANv6 è sufficiente verificare la connettività IPv6 underlay).

Nota: nel caso di route IMET dual-nexthop, l'attributo del tunnel PMSI nella route importata EVI ha come identificatore del tunnel l'indirizzo nexthop primario. Il protocollo BGP sostituisce tale indirizzo con l'indirizzo nexthop secondario dell'attributo tunnel encap se la preferenza locale è quella della famiglia di indirizzi nexthop dell'endpoint del tunnel. Nell'esempio, sebbene BGP mostri Tunnel Endpoint come 10.2.2.2, durante l'installazione in L2RIB, viene sostituito con 2001:DB8:2:2. Questa operazione viene eseguita perché BGP non modifica la voce dell'attributo nella tabella degli attributi.

Questa sezione è applicabile sia per l'handoff L3VPN che per l'handoff Multi VRF (VRF lite/PE-CE)
Verificare il prefisso IP sul router VPN remoto (R1) annunciato a Border-Leaf (vtep3) nell'infrastruttura VPN
- Il nodo VPN R1 ha un underlay MPLS, è un singolo stack. Il nodo Foglia-Bordo Leaf3 e il resto del fabric EVPN possono essere in modalità stack singolo o stack doppio,
Verificare quanto segue se si verifica un problema di traffico con EVPN Route-type 5 (RT5):
Passaggio 1. Conferma route RT5 nella tabella globale EVPN
Passaggio 2. Verificare che il percorso sia importato in VRF
- È necessario che l'RT di importazione sia configurato per il VRF.
- Unione di Route-Target (RT) per uno scenario di handoff su border-leaf/border-spine
- Verificare che la configurazione della VPN BGP "annuncio evpn l2vpn" sia presente nella vrf della famiglia di indirizzi
- Verificare che la configurazione di importazione venga eseguita correttamente sull'handoff L2vpn evpn famiglia di indirizzi e vpnv4/vpnv6 ror L3VPN (sul nodo di bordo), come mostrato di seguito:

Passaggio 4. Verificare che l'RNH (Remote Nexthop) sia installato per il VRF.
- RNH garantisce l'adiacenza del percorso installato nel RIB.
- BGP installa la route RT5 nella tabella VPN BGP, che viene quindi installata nella tabella IP VRF corrispondente.
- L’adiacenza del nexthop installato è assicurata dai parametri del VTEP remoto (come RMAC, eVNI e RTEP). Il valore RTEP corrisponde all'indirizzo di destinazione successivo della route.
- BGP installa l'RNH direttamente in L3-EVPN/NVE.
Se RNH non è corretto, l'immissione CEF per le route non avrà un'adiacenza completa.
- In uno scenario a doppio stack, è necessario controllare se il nexthop per il router e il protocollo RNH/RTEP (endpoint del tunnel remoto) sono gli stessi.
Quando una route non è installata o la route installata ha un'adiacenza incompleta, verificare i parametri RNH e stabilire una correlazione con la configurazione nel nodo locale e con il valore dei parametri nella route.
