In questa sezione del documento principale Fax over IP T.37 Store and Forward Fax è descritto il fax store-and-forward su OnRamp. OnRamp T.37 è il processo di accettazione di una chiamata fax, codificando il fax in un TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) e inviandolo a un server e-mail come allegato.

Nelle sezioni seguenti, prima vengono spiegati i parametri di configurazione del software Cisco IOS® relativi alla configurazione del fax OnRamp, quindi viene visualizzata la configurazione 5300 con ulteriori note che chiariscono le funzioni dei comandi importanti. Alcuni parametri di configurazione opzionali sono disponibili nella sezione successiva alla configurazione 5300.

invio postmaster di posta | Questo indirizzo viene utilizzato se le opzioni MTA inviato da non vengono valutate o non sono configurate. Viene inserito nel campo OnRamp email From. Con questa configurazione, il DNIS (Dialed Number Identification Service) (denominato numero parte) viene inserito nella destinazione RCPT: SMTP. Questo consente ai clienti di fornire a ciascun utente un DID per le applicazioni OnRamp.
