Fort Lauderdale (Florida US) Mayor, Trantalis Visits Thessaloniki DT&S

On October 3, 2022, Fort Lauderdale (Florida US) Mayor, Dean Trantalis made a visit to Thessaloniki, to express an interest in twinning the cities of Fort Lauderdale and Thessaloniki. On this occasion a visit and tour of the International Center for Digital Transformation and Digital Skills (DT&S) took place.

The presentation given to Mayor Trantalis highlighted Cisco's solutions for smart cities and local government services. The DT&S center serves as a hub for these innovative technological solutions, developed in collaboration with partners, start-ups, educational institutions, and research organizations. With a focus on sectors such as smart cities, health, rural development, tourism, environmental protection, civil protection, and more, the DT&S is dedicated to promoting digital transformation and improving digital skills and culture in Greece.
