Given the size and scope of the PENN1 project, we realized we could not do it alone. One of the keys to success was our project partners.
While we could provide much of the technology, the PENN1 retrofit would require a wide range of partners. This was not a typical building design exercise, and we needed the right partners with the right technology and smart building expertise.

When it comes to designing workspaces and office buildings, there are many builders and architects available, and you probably have one already. However, ensure that you have someone on the team with specific experience in designing and integrating all of the technologies associated with smart buildings and hybrid work as part of the initial scope. This is not yet common.
