*"Yawarakai" means "Flexible" and “Infra” a shortened term for “Infrastructure” is a Project Started by Cisco Japan to support DX.
DX has greatly impacted businesses in Japan, companies tend to focus on data and applications while giving Infrastructure a backseat.
Conventional IT infrastructure, designed with a focus on reliability, tend to be less flexible and has led to siloed optimization, becoming a difficult to change.
The "Yawarakai Infra" advocated by Cisco supports DX’s growing needs by helping to achieve the infrastructural challenges companies face and use digital technologies to assist companies with their business transformation.
Components of "Yawarakai Infra"
To change the current rigid siloed infrastructure to "Yawarakai Infra" we would have to introduce the key components of it.
"Yawarakai Infra" is composed of a flexible, abstracted infrastructure by the five components which are Connect, Secure, Optimize, Automate, and Observe.

Support for all connectivity needs, such as BYOD, IoT devices, 5G, Edge, etc.

Optimization towards infrastructure that accelerates digital transformation (DX).
