Upgrade CPLD op Catalyst 9400 SVL-installatie
Inleiding
Dit document beschrijft een stapsgewijze procedure voor het upgraden van de CPLD-versie (Complex Programmable Logic Device) op een Catalyst 9400 StackWise Virtual Link (SVL)-installatie.
Voorwaarden
Vereisten
Cisco raadt aan dat u basiskennis hebt van de stapelbare virtuele installatie en configuratie op Catalyst 9400.

De informatie in dit document is gebaseerd op de PID: C9404R software- en hardwareversies.

Probleem
In Catalyst 9400 wordt tijdens het upgraden van de Cisco IOS®-versie in sommige zeldzame gevallen de CPLD-versie van het apparaat niet bijgewerkt. De CPLD- en de Rommon-versie voor de betreffende versie kunnen worden gecontroleerd via de link https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9400/software/release/17-13/release_notes/ol-17-13-9400/rommon_versions.html.

Stap 1. Gebruik de show redundacny knop om te controleren of de SVL goed werkt.

Stap 5. Als in het geval de CPLD-versie van de Active Switch moet worden bijgewerkt, moet u de volgende stappen uitvoeren:
1. Do a switchover
9400-1#redundency force-switchover >>>>>>>>>>Initially Switch 1 is active and Switch 2 is standby.
After switchover it is vise-versa
2. Upgrade the CPLD version of previous active [now standby] with the command:
9400-1#upgrade hw-programmable cpld filename bootflash: switch 1 R0
3. Reload the the standby
9400-1#redundancy reload peer
