DOCSIS 1.0+实施是DOCSIS 1.0,带QoS扩展,支持LAN上的实时语音、传真和视频。
DOCSIS 1.0+不是电缆实验室的新规范或中间规范。整个DOCSIS 1.0+架构是思科和某些电缆调制解调器(CM)供应商提供的上市时间解决方案,直到DOCSIS 1.1规范和开发广泛提供。
DOCSIS 1.0+为来自ITCM的实时语音、传真和数据包提供额外的QoS功能。以下是DOCSIS 1.0+中添加到DOCSIS 1.0的专用扩展:
两条新的CM启动的动态MAC消息:动态服务添加(DSA)和动态服务删除(DSD)。 这些消息允许在运行时按呼叫创建和删除动态服务ID(SID)。
上游上的未经请求的授权服务(恒定比特率[CBR]-scheduling)。此服务为来自ITCM的上游CBR语音和传真数据包提供高质量QoS信道。
对于任何给定的ITCM,提供单独下行速率的能力取决于数据包中的IP优先级值。这有助于分离流向同一ITCM的语音、信令和数据流量,以便进行速率整形。
当电缆调制解调器终端系统(CMTS)收到注册请求时,它会为ITCM创建本地数据库条目。静态SID会立即分配给数据服务的ITCM。对于电话线路服务,CMTS在ITCM的数据库条目中创建一些延迟的服务流(用于后续激活)。注册期间,没有为电话线路服务分配SID。
注意:CMTS在注册时为ITCM创建的延迟流数取决于为电缆调制解调器调配的“电话线路数”参数的值。值可以是从0开始的任意数字(例如:0、1、2、3等)。
ITCM获取新的语音或传真呼叫,并使用从更高层语音呼叫信令协议接收的编解码器类型G.711或G.729确定该呼叫的QoS参数。
ITCM向uBR发送DSA请求(DSA-REQ),请求新的动态SID。
CMTS访问ITCM的数据库信息(使用DSA-REQ消息中的MAC地址),并检查此ITCM是否有任何非活动或未允许(延迟)的服务流。如果ITCM有未使用的延迟流,并且上游(US)信道(ITCM连接到的)具有足够的容量,可以按照DSA-REQ中的请求允许新的定期CBR插槽,则CMTS会创建新的动态SID。
CMTS使用DSA响应(DSA-RSP)响应ITCM请求。
ITCM确认DSA-RSP。(CMTS每次发送DSA响应时,都希望ITCM发出DSA确认[DSA-ACK]。)
当语音或传真呼叫被清除时,ITCM会向CMTS发送DSD-REQ MAC消息,指定要删除的动态SID。
CMTS删除动态SID并向ITCM发送DSD-RSP。有关DOCSIS 1.0+的详细说明,请参阅DOCSIS 1.0+的常见问题。

Cisco IOS软件版本12.1(1a)T1在电缆调制解调器和Cisco uBR7246上运行。
在CMTS上,动态配置两个特殊(语音和传真相关)QoS配置文件,并可在任何给定时间供CMTS QoS代码使用。这些QoS配置文件(G711和G729)配置了用于G.711或G.729类型编码解码器(编解码器)的特殊调度参数。 CMTS可以从请求此特殊调度处理的DSA-REQ消息的内容获取特定参数(如grant-size和grant-interval)。您必须在CMTS上为每个唯一的编解码器参数组合配置QoS配置文件模板。
注意:在电缆调制解调器的配置文件中配置电话线路后,即会动态创建编解码器G.711和G.729的QoS配置文件。它们收到默认授予间隔20毫秒,授予大小31.22 kbps(对于G.729)和87.2 kbps(对于G.711)。

使用DOCSIS客户端设备(CPE)配置器为电缆调制解调器准备配置文件。指定所需的电话线路数。对于Cisco uBR924电缆调制解调器,此值可以是0、1或2,其中0表示无语音端口的仅数据,1和2表示电话数。指定用于将语音和信令与数据分离的IP优先级设置和速率限制。

在DOCSIS 1.0+中,IP优先级设置用于将语音和信令与数据分离。如果呼叫中某个终端位于有线网络之外,则“外部”网络有责任确保所有语音数据包在转发到CMTS之前都正确着色。如果呼叫中两个终端都在有线网络中,则发起流量的终端(客户)有责任在语音数据包发送到网络之前对其进行颜色设置。
注:您可以使用IP ToS overwrite命令(自早期的uBR7200版本起可用)在属于CBR配置文件的SID上接收的上游数据包中设置非默认服务类型(ToS)值。这样,运营商可以确保在动态CBR SID上接收的数据包在通过uBR7200转发到WAN链路之前具有正确的模式(这可防止ITCM执行任何错误着色)。
