注意两个对等体之间的DLSw内部流。这些数据包对于每个会话启动都是正常的。
此过程的第一步是从断开状态移动到CKT_ESTABLISHED状态;此顺序发生:
两台路由器都为电路本身传输CUR帧,称为CUR_cs(您能否到达电路设置)。
当发起CUR_cs帧的对等体收到ICR_cs帧时,对等体发送确认,并移动以建立电路。
两台DLSw路由器都已准备好进行XID处理。

收到XID后,测试响应将发送到站点并由路由器保持。然后,路由器通过此电路将此XID传输到其对等体,这意味着数据包正在与标记有电路ID的对等体进行发送和接收。
这样,DLSw就知道两个站点之间发生了什么,因为DLSw在云的每一端终止LLC2会话。

收到断开连接后,路由器向远程对等体发送HALT并等待其响应。在收到响应后,路由器会向工作站发送UA并关闭电路。这显示为DISCONNECT.Rsp:

然后DLSw将电路置于死队列。从死队列中,指针已清理并准备好使用新电路。
对于与NetBIOS的会话,DLSw处理协商的方式有所改变;但调试过程非常相似。SNA和NetBIOS的唯一区别是XID不流向NetBIOS站,而DLSw路由器交换NetBIOS名称查询和NetBIOS名称识别帧。
接口启动后,路由器开始该过程:它确定远程控制器的位置。

收到ICR帧后,DLSw将启动此会话的有限状态机(FSM)。这由在DLSw和思科链路服务接口(CLSI)之间传输的REQ_OPNSTN.Req和REQ_OPNSTN.Cfm完成。

电路建立后,发送存储的XID,启动XID交换。
了解XID的来源非常重要。在这种情况下,有两个重要输出:

另一个常见设置称为反向同步数据链路控制(SDLC)逻辑链路控制(LLC);SDLLC),即主站通过SDLC线路连接到路由器时。在将主机迁移到令牌环附件的主机环境中通常会出现这种情况。此设置会更改DLSw处理SDLC线路的方式,因为对于远程PU是否处于活动状态通常存在很大的不确定性。
由于AS/400是主要的,或在角色中设置为可协商的,因此它需要启动会话。当发生这种情况时,会出现以下序列:
串行线路开始运行。
AS/400发送第一个XID。
开始远程控制器的搜索过程。
电路设置完成。
XID协商从行开始。
当XID协商完成时,AS/400向Cisco路由器发送SNRM。这会导致路由器发送CONQ并期望从远程路由器发送CONR。但UA直到收到CONR后才发送。
