本文档介绍从U-boot模式恢复IXM的步骤。
先决条件
使用控制台在IXM上执行恢复所需的组件:
- 用于控制台访问的RJ45到串行电缆
- TFTP网络访问
- IXM的PoE或电源
- 固件映像
问题
场景 1.IXM模块进入Marvell Prompt,并显示控制台中的错误消息:
Booting LPWA modem kernel...
Wrong Image Format for bootm command
ERROR: can't get kernel image!
No previous OS finded!
Marvell>>
场景 2:IXM卡住并抛出python错误:
Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]

解决方案
注意:在特定情况下,如场景2.和3.中所述,IXM设备可能不会进入Marvell的自动登录提示符。在这种情况下,您必须手动激活U-boot模式以开始系统恢复或重新安装过程。有关如何实现此功能的详细步骤和访问Marvell提示符,请参考“如何将IXM引导至Marvell U-Boot模式”部分中的说明。
准备:
固件映像可以从CCO: IXM映像下载
步骤1:从CCO下载最新映像版本。例如: ixm_mdm_i_k9-2.x.x.tar.gz
第二步:解压缩下载的文件,并确保recovery.itb和release.itb文件在TFTP服务器上可用。
第三步:使用Marvell提示符中的控制台会话设置网络配置。
Marvell>>setenv ipaddr 10.1.1.2 (Set the appropriate static IP Address)
Marvell>>setenv serverip 10.1.1.1 (Set the TFTP server IP Address)
Marvell>>setenv netmask 255.255.255.0 (Set the subnet mask )
Marvell>>ping 10.1.1.1 (Check if you can reach TFTP-server)
Using egiga0 device
host 10.1.1.1 is alive
如果要保存IP地址和子网掩码设置,请运行该命令。
注意:如果看到Disabled命令saveenv,请忽略。
Marvell>>saveenv
设置环境变量,以从TFTP服务器引导release.itb 文件。
Marvell>>setenv bootargs $console $nandEcc $mtdparts root=/dev/ram0 rw initrd=0x8000000,128M ramdisk_size=128000000
Marvell>>setenv bootcmd_fit 'tftpboot 0x3000000 release.itb;bootm 0x3000000'
(Note: In this example release.itb file is placed in the default tftp-boot directory. Customize it with the full path of this file on your tftpserver.)
Marvell>>saveenv
加载内核映像:
Marvell>>run bootcmd_fit
等待IXM正常启动以到达Gateway > prompt。
第 4 步(可选):可以执行升级到最新固件版本。
注意:如果设备处于虚拟模式,请在继续操作之前执行切换到独立模式。 Gateway# switchover switch mode to = st
然后,您需要升级到固件文件。

如何启动Cisco Wireless IXM网关至Marvell U-Boot模式
问题:
场景 1.IXM重置过程不起作用。
场景 2:从Uboot模式恢复IXM。
场景 3:在某些情况下,例如在固件降级或升级之后,IXM会陷入连续循环,并显示错误消息。

解决方案:
要转至U-Boot shell,请执行以下步骤:
- 确保您已建立到IXM的控制台连接(将控制台电缆连接到IXM上的RJ45和PC的串行端口,然后使用以下设置打开终端:8/N/1/115200)。
- 通过reload命令、reset按钮或简单卸下/接通电源重新启动IXM。
- 当U-Boot启动时,在控制台会话中按住键盘上的
Space + 1。

如果一切按预期进行,用户会看到Marvell >>>提示符。
