Web身份验证是第3层安全解决方案,旨在通过开放式身份验证或适当的第2层安全方法,提供对WLAN上主机的简单且安全的访客访问。
以下是Web身份验证方法的不同类型:
本地Web身份验证(LWA):在控制器上配置为第3层安全,Web身份验证页面和预身份验证ACL在控制器上本地配置。控制器会拦截http(s)流量并将客户端重定向到内部网页进行身份验证。客户端在登录页面上输入的凭证由控制器本地或通过RADIUS或LDAP服务器进行身份验证。
外部Web身份验证(EWA):在控制器上配置为第3层安全,控制器会拦截http(s)流量并将客户端重定向到外部Web服务器上托管的登录页面。客户端在登录页面上输入的凭证由控制器本地或通过RADIUS或LDAP服务器进行身份验证。预身份验证ACL在控制器上静态配置。
集中Web身份验证(CWA):大多数配置为控制器上的第2层安全性,重定向URL和预身份验证ACL驻留在ISE上,并在第2层身份验证期间推送到控制器。控制器将所有网络流量从客户端重定向到ISE登录页面。ISE验证客户端通过HTTPS输入的凭证并对用户进行身份验证。

传统上,Wi-Fi热点和访客WLAN都使用开放式安全,无需加密或身份验证。Wi-Fi认证增强型开放认证定义开放式Wi-Fi网络中改进的数据隐私性。
此认证基于机会无线加密(OWE)协议。OWE在IETF RFC 8110中定义。OWE协议集成了既定的加密机制,为每位用户提供独特的单独加密,保护了用户和接入点之间的数据交换。
OWE使用基于Diffie-Hellman算法的加密来设置无线加密。使用OWE时,客户端和AP在访问过程中执行Diffie-Hellman密钥交换,并将生成的成对主密钥(PMK)密钥与4次握手配合使用。
如下图所示,执行标准的开放式身份验证和关联,然后四向握手过程生成加密所需的密钥。
