以下是開始將資料庫備份到輔助M系列裝置之前的需求。
- 兩個M系列裝置必須位於同一個AsyncOS版本上（僅限7.2及更高版本）
- 目標M系列裝置必須具有足夠的磁碟空間進行備份。導航到系統管理>磁碟管理（請參閱聯機文檔，瞭解如何分配剩餘磁碟）。
