    本文說明為啟動並運行無線版4500 SUP8E而需要處理的基本核對表。本文不著重介紹如何在Sup8E上設定無線控制器，而是著重介紹之前要驗證的事項以及平台特定事項。完成此操作後，此平台將主要像任何其他融合接入交換機一樣運行，並可遵循其他文檔和指南。

    背景資訊

    Cisco Catalyst® 4500E管理引擎8-E是下一代企業級交換引擎，可在單個平台上實現有線和無線網路之間的完全融合。這款全新的思科®統一接入資料平面(UADP)專用積體電路(ASIC)支援無線融合，有助於實現統一的有線 — 無線策略實施、應用可視性、靈活性和應用最佳化。

    開始

    要使無線裝置在此裝置上啟動並運行，您必須確保滿足以下要求：

    1. 檢查Rommon版本
    2. 映像必須為K9 — 加密
    3. 僅3.8及更高版本支援虛擬交換系統(VSS)（僅限雙管理引擎）
    4. 交換機必須在安裝模式下運行
    5. 許可證必須為Entservices或IP Base
    6. 在套件組合模式下，子卡無法啟動（僅在安裝模式下）
    7. 支援的最大接入點(AP)為50/最大支援的客戶端 — 2000
    8. AP必須終止於同一機箱/管理引擎(SUP)
    9. 一旦啟動這些功能，其餘配置類似於任何融合接入交換機(3850/5760...)

    1.檢查ROMMON版本

    7.最大支援的AP/客戶端數

    8. AP連線

    確保AP終止在同一機箱/SUP上，否則AP不會加入交換機無線控制器。

    與3850和3650一樣，AP必須直接連線到4507的接入埠才能加入Sup8控制器。
