Symptoms: The confreg value command that is used for changing the register configuration on the Cisco CMTS is not supported on the Cisco RFGW-10 Supervisor.
Conditions: When you execute the confreg value command, the following message is displayed:

Symptoms: Supervisor cannot boot up.
Conditions: When the clear config all command is executed, all the environment variables on the Supervisor are reset, including the SkipDiagsAlways variable, which on power cycle triggers bootup diagnostics. However, the bootup diagnostics are not supported on the RFGW-10 Supervisor. As a result the Supervisor hangs at the bootup.
Workaround: In the ROMMON mode, set the variable SkipDiagsAlways to value 1.
Symptoms: Supervisor cannot boot up.

Symptoms: In Stateful Switchover (SSO) mode, the Standby Supervisor boot up is delayed due to a prolonged bulk configuration synchronization from the Active Supervisor to the Standby Supervisor. The Standby Supervisor may be reset due to timeout of its boot up process.
Conditions: This issue occurs when large number of video sessions are configured on the Cisco RFGW-DS48 line cards on the Cisco RFGW-10 Universal EQAM.
Workaround: There is no workaround.
