Tech leaders reveal how Al's transforming the most in‑demand ICT jobs

The AI-Enabled ICT Workforce Consortium is led by Cisco and joined by Accenture, Eightfold, Google, IBM, Indeed, Intel, Microsoft, and SAP. The Consortium was inspired by the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council’s Talent for Growth Task Force and includes the following advisors: American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, CHAIN5, Communications Workers of America, DIGITALEUROPE, the European Vocational Training Association, Khan Academy, and SMEUnited. Its goal is to explore Generative AI’s impact on ICT job roles and enable workers to understand the skills transformations and find relevant training programs.

The Consortium took a proactive stance in addressing the profound impact of Al on the workforce:

First, they identified the most in-demand ICT jobs

Next, they analyzed how Gen AI will impact those roles

Then they published insights to help individuals to reskill and upskill to remain relevant in their careers
