Installing Unified CCE 11.6(2) ES7


·      Stop all UCCE Services

·      Uninstall ET Patch if installed

·      Download ICM 11.6(2) ES7 patch from CCO

·      Copy the patch to server where it needs to be installed

·      Install patch

·      Reboot server

·      Start ICM Services

Uninstall Directions for Unified CCE 11.6(2) ES7


  1. To uninstall this patch, go to Control Panel.
  2. Select "Add or Remove Programs".
  3. Find the installed patch in the list and select "Remove".

Note: Remove patches in the reverse order of their installation. For example, if you installed patches 3, then 5, then 10 for a product, you must uninstall patches 10, 5, and 3, in that order, to remove the patches from that product.

Symptom:
1. Web Setup displays the Authorization Error once logged in. "Authorization error: There is a problem accessing Instance OU information in the Active Directory domain. Contact your System Administrator" 2. Unable to map the existing service account using SAM tool

Further Problem Description:
It looks to be, application is having issue in determining the setup and config security group membership or in that case, even the local administrator membership to determine the authorization of the logged in user. This is causing the issues with web setup and SAM tool.

Headline: Customer not able to change the Domain via WebSetup


Symptom:
Not able to change the AW Domain via WebSetup

Conditions:

Further Problem Description:
When customer logs in after the Websetup and tries to change the domain of the AW via the WebSetup "Change domain" Below is the error message Authorization error: There is a problem accessing Instance OU information in the Active Directory domain. Contact your System Administrator.

Headline: Admin Client Setup doesn't allow to configure after enter the Instance information


Symptom:
In Admin client Setup windows after adding the Instance and saving it, we get below error. "Necessary Security groups do not exist for instance xxxxx. Please Run domain Manager to fix the issue before adding instance xxxxxxx"

Workaround:
None

Further Problem Description:
Customer installing Admin client 11.6 in Windows 2012 R2 After running the setup, they get the Websetup page. In the Websetup page they are able to login. Once after logged in, they add the Instance and click on Save. That returns the below error "Necessary Security groups do not exist for instance xxxxx. Please Run domain Manager to fix the issue before adding instance xxxxxxx"
