An HTTP upgrade requires you to load the image into the access point memory. If there is not enough system memory for an HTTP upgrade, the upgrade fails. If it fails, try using TFTP upgrade or upgrading HTTP again after disabling the radio interfaces, shutting off high memory usage features (such as WDS), and rebooting.
System Software Filename

System Software Version

Upgrade System Software Tar File
To install a newer version of Cisco IOS software, insert the correct path and filename of the new system software tar file. Go to Cisco.com and download the newest system software version to your local drive. Click Browse, locate the new system software file, and click Upgrade to copy the file to the access point. Upgrades may take several minutes to complete and can cause the access point to reboot.
