Cisco announces the end-of-sale dates for the XDR Regional Data Retention and Ingest. The last day to order the affected product(s) is September 3, 2024. The last day to renew or add to an existing subscription is September 3, 2024. Table 1 describes the end-of-sale milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts and subscriptions (as applicable), support will be available under the terms and conditions of customers' service contract and subscription.
In order to streamline the ordering process for customers with data sovereignty requirements outside of the United States, Cisco is announcing the end-of-sale dates for the PIDs that add a regional uplift cost for Data Retention (180/365 days) and Ingest (i.e., add-ons) in EMEA and APJ. Customers will now be able to order these add-ons without a regional cost uplift whether for deployment in North America, EMEA, or APJ (refer to “Replacement Product Part Number” in Table 2 below for the replacement PIDs).
Note: There are no changes to the underlying product nor to customers’ ability to retain data for extended periods of time or ingest larger amounts of data per user. The regional uplift cost for XDR Essentials, Advantage, and Premier remains unchanged.
