Enhancements to gNOI proto files

Release 7.9.1

The following gNOI proto files are enhanced:

  • gNOI Cert Proto: The RPCs defined in the proto file supports loading a Certificate Authority (CA) bundle to validate a peer's certificate.

  • gNOI OS Proto: The RPCs defined in the proto file can be used to install the software, activate the software version and verify that the installation is successful.

Traffic engineering using gRIBI RPCs

Release 7.9.1

With gRIBI RPCs, you can customize traffic engineering decisions based on individual requirement irrespective of the interdependency with the routes configured using other routing protocols. This feature introduces the show gribi aft command.

Disable TLS 1.0 to avoid security risks

Release 7.9.1

Although Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol provides secure communication between servers and clients, TLS 1.0 may pose a security threat. This version is deprecated as per RFC 8996. You can now disable TLS 1.0 using the tlsv1-disable command. Use TLS 1.2 or later versions.
