Open Caveats—Cisco IOS XE Release 3.14S
This section documents the unexpected behavior that might be seen with the Cisco ASR 900 router in Cisco IOS XE Release 3.14S.
A new EFP is added after performing SSO.
Traceback observed on unconfiguring or reconfiguring ACR working and protect groups on one port to another. These tracebacks are seen when ACR-CEM group from work and protect ports are unconfigured and configured in new ports.
Traceback error message invalid segment observed on router.
EoMPLS traffic drops after a clear ip route command is executed on the imposition router.
CPU HOG and traceback observed on link flaps in G8032 ring.
Router does not send OAM dying gasp messages before the port is error disabled.
IPv6 ping over cross connect does not work.
Policer creation fails due to policer reservation for CoPP on performing ISSU.
Connection Manager error observed on soft OIR of router.
Serial links keep flapping on the work and protect nodes after OIR of ACR CEM interface module.
Multicast traffic loss is seen with BFD.
High convergence is seen with mrouter in port shut state and with the receiver router in REP ring configuration.
OAM remote loopback functionality does not work.
Targeted LDP sessions between customer edge devices flaps every 3 minutes.
Crash observed in punt path API with 500 cross connects with egress policy map.
Crash observed on SSO with multicast.
CPU hogs observed after executing the show bridge-domain command.
Ping not working properly for second multilink interface on 32port T1/E1 interface module/
SNMP polling entSensorThresholdTable crashes on system IOSd. This occurs when SPA transceiver entity sensors exist in the entity table.
Serial interface module physical port details are not populated in entPhysicalTable.
Bridge domain EFP-bind error objects are not seen on continuous or multiple interface flaps on the router.
Traffic not reaching the receivers after configuring REP on defaulted core interfaces.
L4 classification does not work on Layer2 port-channel after reload.
CCM TDL leaks are observed with CFM configured.
The source interface of a RSPAN session in shutdown state does not forward traffic after reload.
Traffic stops flowing after removing APS configuration from protect controller.
DHCP packets with VLAN tag get dropped on a transparent node between client and server.
BDI interface show incorrect byte count.
Data path breaks observed after SSO on T1/E1 controllers.
Resolved Caveats—Cisco IOS XE Release 3.14S
This section documents the issues that have been resolved in Cisco IOS XE Release 3.14S.
Track unicast on router using command:
1. show platform hardware pp active feature cef database ipv4 10.0.0.2/32 0
2. show platform hardware pp active feature multicast database ipv4 table 0 226.0.0.4/32 3.
3. show platform hardware pp active adjmgr l3m_print_nh_handle 0x342014d8
Multicast traffic stops flowing over pseudowire on changing the configuration. Traffic does not resume till reloaded.
SNMPwalk for ifHCOutUcastPkts & ifInUcastPkts tables adds multicast packets.
Standby router reloads continuously.
With the DAI configuration, the BDI goes to err-disable state instead of physical port when a Trunk EFP is configures at the access side.
Egress SPAN large packets (size > 208B) gets dropped.
Error or pending objects observed after copying the configuration to the running configuration on the router.
Multicast traffic not forwarded over BDI with SSO on FHR.
Traffic drops in the MST region during IM-OIR followed by an SSO.
IPv6 multicast traffic does not recover with IM OIR followed by a shutdown and no shutdown command.
Group specific query forwarded by the Layer3 interface is not sent out of the router.
The UP Meps are not learnt when port channel is down.
CSCuo76490
Small buffer and IDB leak are seen with PIM registers on a the router.
IP SLA session ID not found with different encapsulation on core & access port.
Transceiver missing alarms seen on RJ45 ports with the Copper Combo interface module.
RS232 type port is configurable through using command.
Ping failure observed when HSRP standby takes over from active router.
Active FP stuck in disconnecting state.
ToD format NMEA ZDA is supported on the router.
Mismatch errors observed on the RSP card types post switchover.
The SNMP MIB do not work on the port channel.
– ifHCInUcastPkts (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.7)
– ifHCOutUcastPkts (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.11)
Broadcast packet information is displayed incorrectly for port-channel through SNMP MIB query.
Issues with MTU settings observed on POS interface.
The BITS LED remains GREEN on unconfiguration of the input-source.
Core interface ping fails when system has seven Layer3 port-channels configured.
Unsupported configuration errors are seen when trying to configure SPAN between 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
DB output is not seen for active ethernet CFM pm sessions.
Ingress classification based on DSCP and ACL does not work. The packets get classified as class-default.
RSP module crashes with mVPN configuration, but SDM profile remains default instead of mvpn_rsp1a.
With a third party APS, the router interprets traffic incorrectly wrongly causing a APS revert to working port while protect port should remain active.
The TEFP on the standby interfaces TEFP is exists in the flood MET.
Multicast traffic fails on the router.
ACM is does not on RSP2 module.
Layer2protocol forward does not traffic on slots 0,1,2 of the interface.
Error followed by traceback on issuing show interfaces transceiver detail command.
